Could you clarify did you tick "Release" in the App settings Android binary tab before you exported the .apk file?

No, contrary to what some of the directions are for submitting your APK to Google Play, you DO NOT have to zip the apk in a zip file. Just submit the APK directly.

I re-read you question and to answer, yes it was clicked...however I had read that you had to zip your APK file before submitting to Goggle Play. You don't.

Lets try try to export .apk file one more time and upload it to Google Play, but before you do this, please make sure that you tick "Release" in the App settings Android tab.
