Unfortunately, the component used in the IDE has a problem we're solving now. Carousel version you can see on Github has a later version and does not have these problems.

You can wait for an official fix the component or use the version posted on Github. Remove framing structure define() from the file and take CSS-styles: https://github.com/exadel-jqm-contrib...

All this should be used as embedded assets in the project. In such a case, unfortunately, the mapping isn't available. But the component will be fully programatically functional.

In the examples, there is a carousel version directly from Github.
