1) you can modify look of navbar by css or jquery.css
2) active tab doesn't work for me, looks like this bug hasn't been fixed properly
3) make sure you don't have any CLICK events attached to nav itself, you should add them only to nav items (tabs). When I added click event to wrapper it was doing just as you described
so.. i use javascript to do the navigation in the navbar instead of click event?
Have any example of CSS code i could use for styling the navbar?
you can use click event just make sure it is on the tab not the wrapper, I made this mistake and had issue when clicking, very easy to make this mistake
