Hello! This kind of strange bug... It has been reported by some users, but the problem is that we can't reproduce it on our side even with user apps. Most often it helps to reload app or to logout/login back. Anyway the issue is reported and we're going to add logs so we can monitor and research this problem (it's going to be after next release in the middle April). We're sorry for inconvenience.

No - I'm trying to use it to debug an app in the appery.io tester on android devices. I don't know if that's a supported scenario?
The client (phone or tablet) sometimes makes contact and I get some console output, but usually the connection fails or never starts. It's very frustrating - I'm trying to debug with only alert messages, so it's taking much longer than I planned.
I've tried Chrome and Firefox on the development client under win 8.1, logged off, cleared the cache etc, but this doesn't seem to help.

You should try do this not via the tester, but via apk/ipa. Remote debug works more stable.
