Hi There,

it works ... it doesn't work ...

basically, when the video address is placed in the builder property, the video can be played.

but when it is downloaded from the appery DB and stored into the Video ID field, it doesn't work. msg error always same "An error occured" or "parameter incomplete" ...

I also tried the code
Appery('youtubePlayer').attr("data-video-id", videoId);

still doesn't success

any idea ?

Could you clarify what value do you map in Video ID? It shows player if map id itself - dQw4w9WgXcQ. Perhaps you are trying to map entire link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9...?

thks for your prompt feedback.
no in the DB record is only stored the videoID itself not the link.
the mapping links the DB field to the builder control "video ID".
in fact, it works sometime and then shows the error msg again. very unstable.
when placed in the property field of the builder, it works always.
however, i do need the videoID to be updated dynamically.

in fact, I have just proceeded with the builder Update. both video samples are working. so no point to spend time on it. if it failed again, I would come back to you. (for the time being, after the update, I hv some other major bugs. I'll do different posts )
