Hi Alena,
This just allows me to see the side menu component when I am working on the app build. I fully understand how that works. The problem is that the side menu will not operate using a header button after I add a footer to the app. When I remove the footer, the side menu operates again.

Can I get an update on status of this issue. Not being able to use footers if you use a side menu is a pretty major problem when building an app. It's been hanging out there for six months so if it's a bug, as you say, can you explain why it hasn't been addressed yet?

The inability to use footers/tabs with the side-menu is a significant flaw in the Appery.io Ionic platform. This issue was reported over 7 months ago. Can you tell us with specifics what is causing the problem? What actions have been taken? What progress has been made? And when can a resolution be expected? Thank you.

Hello Peter,
We've been working to improve Appery.io logic and components all the time. Unfortunately sometimes it takes more time time than expected for some of the elements. We're planning to make some noticeable changes connected with Ionic footers/tabs in our next release, which is planned in a few weeks. We'll get back with the update.
