This URL works fine in a LINK. I get an error message when I attach it to the button.

I just fired up another machine. Same problem
ugh... this is not good. I just fired up another machine. Started from scratch same problem.
Here is a picture. Just before the error message.
Have you tried any other URL?
tried http://www.objectwheel.com -- worked fine.

Try this:
Paste the link from the clipboard and before clicking Add Event move through the entered string using the arrow keys on the keyboard. Let us know if this helps.
We reproduced the problem and we will solve it.
