I am seeing the following in the console log:

Based on this log -- are you using some additional JS code with images data?

I am not sure what you mean, 'with images data'. Are you suggesting that some already existent js code is interfering with the correct operation? The log is produced when the camera is used and before you attempt the upload, apart from the last line which says 'Default implementation is used. Please define your own' as this happens when the upload button is pressed.

1) App name
2) Test credentials if login functionality is implemented in your app
3) Detailed steps to reproduce the issue

I have shared the APP 'The Plough Inn' and the DATABASE 'ThePlough'

APP Name: The Plough Inn (not the one labelled Plough Inn)
Login: admin
Password: ravine

tap Login
tap Administration
tap Daily Menu
tap Photo Menu

An alert message pops up showing the state of the toggle component.

tap Camera and use devices camera to take a photo
The image uri is stored in local storage variable 'image_uri' . This appears to be ok as I can view the image on the device.

tap upload

This calls menuUpload datasource which executes the success event and an alert message says that upload was successful.

On checking the database, however, it can be seen that the image has not been uploaded to the Files collection.

I would be grateful if someone could sort this as it is holding me back

What device/version OS do you use? Could you also check request/response from Weinre's network tab?

The Device is a Tesco Hudl 2 Android version 5.1
