And when you create a new project and try to add a plug-in there, what is its type?

I've tried matching exported plug-in with type=Web, then importing to a new project with type=Web. Then the same thing with type=App. I've tried mixing/matching.

However I do it, my plug-ins to not appear anywhere other than in the Plug-In list under 'Your Plugins'

Let's try this.

Create a new mobile app (default project type)
Export it (or parts of it) as a plug-in
Create New From Plug-in --- do you see it listed there?

Max,
I see all of my Plug-ins listed under Plug-ins. I need to import them, and that's where the breakage occurs.

However, creating a new project and saving it as a plug-in as you suggest above, DOES make it available for importing as a plug-in.

That does not solve my problem, however. I need to export functionality from an old, existing application.

Was it a project that was converted from Flash builder?

No. I created all of my projects from scratch in "Tiggzi" days. None of them can be imported as a Plug-in after exportation.
