Katya, I didn't do anything but create a two pages add a button to one that linked to another, your Platform version is way behind, its at 8.0 now, your Schema is 2009 the new is 2012,
2009 didn't even have windows 8 phone?? So loading a 2009 schema will not work for windows 8 phone,
There is no resolution settings in your schema
I think That is why it will not work on a Windows 8 Phone its build is to old,

Sorry the Platform version from your build is 7.1 Its for a windows phone 7

Is there any plans of updating to windows 8 capability.
I have been looking at the possibility of importing the html 5 from the project into VS and building from there but to much of the code is deprecated or not compatible at least so far.
Has anyone else had any luck in doing this? I've tried porting the app to 8.0 but still get errors

We want to update Windows 8 apps capability/code, but we don't have an exact date yet.

Hey Max, there is a way to port the 7.5 to windows 8 I would suggest upgrading your code to 7.5 then when we download the source code we can decide if it stays at windows 7 or port to 8. Once ported to 8 the code can't be downgraded back to 7.
I think the issue is the capabilities part of the code that keeps freezing up on me. Still looking for work around if I find it I will update

Hi,

I have downloaded a project for WP and have tried to open in Visual Studio 2013. The Project was converted to new solution of VS 2013. The build was successful but a problem has occurred with installing the application on lumia 820.
The error message is "Fix the Capabilities in WMAppManifest.xml".

What is the best solution or how to fix it? Do you have any deadline of supporting WP8 and VS 2013?
