Hi,
See attached (I am the original poster) for the service settings/request/response in Appery and Chrome screenshot. As you can see, I get an error in Appery but the request works fine in Chrome.
Thanks nholm. Adding the the proxy did the trick. Now I am able to connect to my backend.

Appery staff: Just to clarify - this still doesn't work for me!
Yeah - it doesn't work in the appery test connection. Run the app in the browser and verify it in the developer tool. The response should be fine.
