After creating service add it on the page where you are going to run the service, open mapping and edit parameters.

So what parameters do I change for video?

Unfortunately camera service only allows you to take photos, you cant make video using it.

Has there been any progress on this? Can I now use the native camera component in Appery.io to capture video and upload to database? Thanks.

No, unfortunately the situation is the same. You may try using some phonegap plugin for these goals.

Hi Evgene, So could you please provide me with a step by step tutorial as to how to accomplish this? With screenshots? Maybe even a tutorial video.

I think it would be a worthwhile time investment for Appery.io because I am sure there are so many people who want to use a simple WYSIWYG tool such as Appery to create simple apps that can capture video clips to upload to DB.
