I also have this issue, as I have tried submitting my app to a store, and they say I have to remove the permissions not required by my app otherwise it will be treated as malware.
Did you get around this?
The reason I used tiggzi is because I don't know how to play around with the phonegap stuff myself.
Go to Project App Settings Android permissions

Are you using the old builder? We could convert your project to use the new builder.
Yes using the old builder. I have thoroughly tested my app. If you convert it, will I have to test again?

I have changed my permissions, but when I try to export to release apk it fails. Have tried twice
