This very similar to a problem I sent them a video about the other day

John try this workaround
Make sure in the builder you have both windows open like above in your images;
Leave the mapping window open the way you show it;
Go back to the service window
automatically create your response again;
Then go back to the mapping window and see if it is there.

well, for this particular service Im waiting on my other programmer to finish the controller in the server... So, i cannot automatically create the response yet...

John,
Then delete them all and add them back in by hand. I had to do that the other day on 25 service I had, since it did not see the request item I added to the base service and I had to do for all my service to get that request variable in for me to map it. Yes it is a pain, but you can move forward.
