Sorry if I'm not understanding but Is all that js code needed to do oAuth for appery? My expectation is that appery wouldn't need any code, zero, to execute oAuth 1 and 2.
Appery.io is a platform on top of standard and open technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS. So yes, there is still JavaScript. In most examples you don't see it but this particular examples require to write more JavaScript.
I'll write up my comment as an Idea.
