REST SERVICE GOOGLE STATIC MAPS API CONNECTING BUT NOT DISPLAYING THE MAP WITH THE MARKERS

I'm not as sophisticated as these here. Im wondering if there is a video on how to setup a store locator from scratch using the google map API ? I have a file with all the addresses of the stores that I want to add to the map. I want to have the user enter his zip code or if location services are turned on, have google map automatically display the stores nearest to this location.
