Hi Katya,
still struggling here with push.
I have redone all certs (new csr for each) and pro profiles, but still probs with push etc

This is the order thing were done, and the results

created new developer certs for dev and distribution
created new app id, ensured id matched apperyio
in new app id created push certs for dev and distribution
created prov. profiles for dev and distribution with push enabled

downloaded all certs and profiles
double click all certs and install to key chain
click "keys" in key chain
select the key, open and right click on the cert
export, and save as p12, for both developer and push certs
double clicked profiles to install in xcode
upload all files to appery.io

using the development developer certs and profile appery.io will build the ipa.
load to iphone through itunes
app loads and works.
But no message regarding push notifications
no reg in device data base
after sending a push from appery, is just says "wait" and thats 3 hours ago

when I do the same within apperyio with distribution certs and profile, appery.io builds the app.
Install into itunes and load on iphone.
the app with distribution files never finishes loading,
the icon on the home screen stays dark, and when you tap the icon the app name text changes to "installing"

in xcode app builds with both sets of certs and will run on iphone from xcode, but no push.
xcode validates the app with distribution files, and a version is waiting review in the app store,
I uploaded it just to see if apple would notice something wrong with the certs or profile, but it passed with no issues
so I am hoping you may have a suggestion on what I may be able to do now.
I was hoping to solve this before upgrade.

thx

Hello!

Do you link app to DB before installing on device?[quote:]the app with distribution files never finishes loading, [/quote] could you try again after update?

Hi Maryna!
I have deleted all p12s and prov file, uploaded prov file again and select again, butI can't upload and developer p12, is this a new feature, and does it mean my profile is wrong.

Thx

Hi folks,
I have deleted and regenerated provisioning files, checked app I'd, all good, but when I upload the files and select 1, that's a far as I get, the builder doesn't allow me to upload the p12.
Ok so this must mean the profile is wrong, can't figure what it is,
I click new profile, select app I'd from list, click next, select dveloper cert, select devices, click next, name app and generate.
That's it, can't see what I am missing

Could you clarify is there any error when you upload certificate?

Hi Maryna,
once I select the prov. file and set it,
I return to the app there is no option to upload the developer p12 only refresh,
I cant upload anything,
so I am thinking as Katya confirmed this is a new feature to ensure correct signing,
so it would appear there's something wrong with prov. file,
I really do not know the cause of this prob.
My explanation of how and what I did to create the files is the correct procedure.

I will delete all from my developer account, keychain and xcode content and tomorrow start afresh with new developer certs, app id and profile,

I will take s/s as I go and if its OK with you guys I will send in an email to support, and if you can see what stupid thing I am doing it may solve the issue

thx
