Hi

It seems that the video works on the tester but not when installed on the phone. I am using a Samsung S5. Installed the APK. I cannot play thie video on the device, yet it works fine in the browser tester. It also does not work using the Appery Phone tester App.

Are you say that this Component is useless. What is the point of having a video component if it does not work?

What is the point of the component if it does not work? I see that 3rd party player only opens in fullscreen mode. I cant use it.

Also your Cordova Plugin only supports Android. What about IOS?

Hi Deon - On different platforms video formats are played differently some are supported out-of-the-box on the mobile platform some others needs additional codecs for playback.

Sergiy suggested you only an option, you can search for other options in the internet or create your own plugin for your needs.

I see the Audio control component has the same non functional behaviour.

This means bioth the video and audio control is basically useless for playback from _files collection.

There is no point in using appery if nothing works.
