Unfortunately it's hard to say now. We reported this bug and our developers are working on it at the moment. Most likely it will be fixed in a few month, but there is a possibility that it will be fixed early. We'll get back to you with the update when we have more information.
i also have this problem, templates are a nice feature but it is so slow to edit them it makes it painful. it appears to have gotten worse over time for me, perhaps it is related to the number of pages that are based on the template. in my app i have 5+ pages using a navbar template. I have this problem on chrome using a macbook pro. i have also cleared cache etc per sugestions in the above thread. any update on when this issue might be fixed?
I am still having this issue. But continue to use templates with great pain.

Could you please specify how does it work for you now?
Its very slow. In other words, every time I change a setting or a value or add something, it takes 20-30sec before the change will take place and I get control back to make the next change.
