1) it's hard to say - depends on internet speed, but as you mentioned you have a few big files and they're definitely shouldn't be stored in app (in echo);

I've put the the things discussed here into practical use and I'm getting some interesting result. I obtain the REST response from a shorter version of the xml I'm using. I then put the whole xml in Echo. It seems to get the data out from the Echo service quite okay, but shows only 4 records out of several. I appreciate a solution for this.
Still needing help here please. can't understand why only 4 records are showing up in my app.
