Is it possible to decrease the amount of data? Try with with small pieces of the data. At first, download the headers only (not just only show them as they are now), let the service send only the names at the beginning.

I'll appreciate it if you can tell me the exact things to in steps and what I need to do them. For example, should I create a separate xml for names and use that to populate the headers? If so, what are the steps to extract the full information from the full xml that I'm currently using?

Katya, I did some further tests and separated the names as I thought you might be suggesting. When I did that I was able to get all the names listed. {progress!}.

Now, I have two REST services, the second one contains the whole xml as it was before--names and all. So when I click a name, how can I get the filtered data from the second REST service to be display.

Hi Marina, it is now shared. A weird thing happened after I pasted the second xml in Echo: the Data content of the startScreen is blank! Often it hangs on loading. Let me know if I need to reconstruct first.

Ok. I fixed the app and have shared it. As said before, I have two REST services, the second one contains the whole xml as it was before--names and all. So when I click a name, I need to connect it to the data in the second service display the relevant data in oDetail.

Do you plan to deliver your application with this XML? Maybe you could rethink your app and remove XML from it, to opt out of using the service...
