Is there any update on this bug? I have an MP4 that I am trying to play with the Video control.Plays fine in test browser, but not in Android APK. Since it has been 6 months since the last post here, I was hoping there is a fix. Can you please update?

Could you clarify what is your Libraries version and what device do you use to test?
OK, here is the setup:
I am using the Video UI component from the palette (no IFRAMES).
My Libraries versions are:
JQuery - 1.9.1
JQuery Mobile - 1.4.2
PhoneGap - 3.3.0
Should I start a fresh topic on this, because the original topic is about Iframe, and I am not using that one?
Oh, and the device is a Digix Android Tablet (generic Chinese tablet) running Android 4.1

I've just successfully created app with video component, and it works correctly for me (except auto play). Could you please clarify what is not working for you?
So, were you able to make an apk, deploy to Android 4.1 and have it actually play the video? My problem is that it works fine when in the browser tester, but no video shows up when played on the device.

Yes, I built .apk, installed it on Samsung Premier with Android 4.1.2 and video displayed fine.
Was the video playing locally, or from a URL? If URL, can you share that URL with me so I can test with that video?
