I'm having intermittent trouble using a settings service - it isn't saving changes to fields in the settings service.

Is this a known problem?

Sorry, haven't had time to test properly. There is definitely an issue, but it only appears on one field. I can change the default value of the setting field and save the project and I then find the setting field is back to its default (the name of the field). Logging out, clearing cache don't seem to help, but deleting the setting field completely, saving and logging out then recreating the field seems to work. It may be that changing something elsewhere in the project helps. Meanwhile other fields in the same service seem to save ok.
I'll try and test more rigorously later, but I get the impression the field is failing to save.
