How to force create link to home screen to the index file instead of startScreen?

Dear Appery,
i edit the index.html file to act as a splash screen while the project in downloaded to the user's mobile browser (this is a web app), the user will save the app to the user's home screen for him to enjoy full screen instead of the safari container
however, for the user to enjoy the splash screen instead of the 10-15 seconds of white screen while the app starts its life cycle by starting the app from the index file he should save the link for the index, however when the user has the option to "add to home screen" its already after the project has been loaded and it will save it to startScreen and not the index...
any thoughts on how to bypass this?
