How to store images locally on the device and create a zoom function for the image?

Hi, im trying to store images locally on the device and create a zoom function for the image. That way i can display my image in full screen mode and also zoom into a map for instance.

The purpose is so i could still see the image and zoom into it if the app is offline.

Is there any way to do this?

You can locally save images on device http://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/2.9... and use then in app.

um, im not that advanced in programming i need basic step by step instructions in how to save an image locally and then create a function that can display the image in full screen and also create a zoom function that could zoom into the map image.

Could you help in any way?
