About file size: why maximum 3.0MB?

I have got an alert "Error: maximum file size is 3.0MB". True because I have tried to upload approximately a 20MB-size file. Is there any specific reason why max 3MB?

Hi,
This is a server restriction to prevent uploading of too big files that are unnecessary in application. This also helps to prevent server disk space from overloading.
For example, scanned photo size can be up to 350 MB. This quality is needed for image retouch and polygraphy but not in mobile/web applications.
OK, I understand that. Do you consider to change the rule to upload, depending on file type/extension?
like library, exe file, or not picture/video type.
This is not planned in the nearest future.
