I have created an app that shows allows me to connect with other people. I am now trying to find a way to show all of my contacts that I have made. I also need to find a way to send people a "friend request" because I want all the accounts to be private until a connection has been made. Any help is appreciated.

Not the contacts from my phone address book. The app I am creating has people creating profiles and then sharing their information with people they have met. I am looking to find a way to show the people I have connected with.
