I have been trying to connect to a MySQL database with API Express. Nothing seems to work. But I am certain I have all credentials correct.

Now, I would like to know if I need to include the appery.io domain name to remote MySQL to make it work. I have done so already with no luck but it wouldn't hurt asking.

I connect to MySQL okay. Make sure your server will allow remote access. Speak to your host. Or if you're using cpanel you can set it to allow remote connection in the MySql area.
