Do you mean file which is stored in Database?
Sorry no, I posted after searching for kml but found the answer that you cant, a question, if I downloaded the source and put a kml file in the source folder then uploaded back up would that work?
What's a kml file? You can check PhoneGap API for accessing local files or the browser file API: http://caniuse.com/#feat=fileapi
Sorry for the late reply max, a kml file is like an xml its basicly a css for maps, it allows you to add geo data to a map with a relatively small foot print a file of over 700 poi is under a mgb with custom icons and highlighted or restricted routes. Its also fast since it fully structured ,
