Hello everybody !

I want to developp an app for the internal communication of my company. I'm thinking to create a wordpress website to make writer create content and management validate it. Then a mobile app woulddisplay the content. Do you thin it would work ?
This app shouldn't be public because a lot of internal informations will be published in it. So who can I make it available for the employees (I-phones and Android) ? I think that for android I can simply make the .apk available but how does it work for Apple products ?

The easiest way is if all the posts are published and not private, then you can simply show the entire site in iframe.

If you have the approach of distribution your app as .apk file, you may use it for Apple devices too, just distribute .ipa file instead http://devcenter.appery.io/documentat...

To generate this .ipa file, Do I need an apple developper account ? Because I'm trying not to pay for one since I won't need the services of the Apple's market place.

Yes, for making .ipa file you would need to have:
Apple certificate (.p12).
Apple provision profile (.provision).
Bundle ID (com.company.***)

So I'm starting to create the app

My question is now how to get the content of the wordpress ? Because the content will be generate on a wordpress, but private. So I want to use the API to display the content on the app.

How can I make the link between Appery.io and the database of my wordpress ?

Hello Pierre,

Yes, the only way to connect your app with a wordpress db is to use REST API. Unfortunately third party api is outside of the scope of our support, but I think these links will be useful for you:
