I assume it's the code which follows "It is added as X-Appery-Database-Id header" on the database settings page. Your tutorials need to be better guys!

If it says something in the tutorial it should be in the builder. I can't find the phrase "Database ID = " anywhere in the database section.

Api key is the same as db id
