I have a wordpress site which obviously runs a MySQL database. I am trying to connect to this database via API Express. It keeps telling me my credentials are wrong even after I have checked and double checked them.
I used 'show variables;' to retrieve the required information from MySQL. I am sure of my dbname, user and password.
I can't seem to figure out what is wrong.

Please check and make sure API Express can connect to your database. If API Express is not able to connect to your database, you might need to expose your database as described here: https://devcenter.appery.io/documenta...

Hi Rissa, the running database should be exposed to Appery.io DNS addresses to be able to connect to it and run queries. Here is how to do this: https://docs.appery.io/docs/apiexpres...
Thank you for your response. Actually what needed up working for me is using the advanced object and the jdbc string from azure MySQL.
Also just want to include that I had firewalls and all info correct under basic, but when I set it up with advanced it worked fine.
