In order for me to add some AdMob capabilities into the Tiggzi project, once I get the app working correctly I export to Eclipse for Android.

I add my code, and compile to APK. During the compile process I need to generate a key store, so I took the key alias, key password, and keystore password from my project and used that to create the signing key.

After creating the APK I tried to upload the APK to the Play Store as an update but this failed due to an incorrect certificate, ie it didnt match.

When creating the key, I also have to add one other key piece of information (as a minimum) eg First and Last Name, organisation etc and this may affect the fingerprint.

Can you confirm if any other items are entered during your key generation please as I dont really want to have to create a whole new app on the market and lose the user base I have generated.

Is this possible please?

Hello! Working on it, I'll update.

If you want to update app version on Play Store you would need to sign app with the same certificate and key alias.

But to create the cert I was under the impression I needed to use the key alias, , key password, and keystore password from my project.

I have done this and the cert does not match, I was therefore presuming that the extra information that is a requirement for the signing must change the cert.

The information I need to keep the cert the same from Tiggzi signing is:

You need to set the Validity period and one other item below that for a valid cert. My cert creation needs to have the identical information, thats what I'm requesting

You have to use certificate generated by Tiggzi. You can share your app with a href="mailto:support@tiggzi.com" rel="nofollow"support@tiggzi.com/a and we'll send you all nesessary data.

The crt file you sent has enabled me to compile the code correctly.

I am using a free account, but will be subscribing soon as the service I have received is fantastic and has convinced me this platform is the one to go for.
