Hello,

I am trying to build a functionality that enables the twilio sample and plug-in to pull all the parameters of an exsiting sms string within the native sms functionality. e.g. I would like the twilio sample app to enable a user to select a recent group SMS, then pull all the recipients on that recent group text into the "to" line on Twilio.

I looked at this response but it didn't seem to help:

You would need to search online for PhoneGap plugin which allows reading SMS from device.

I didn't see read SMS functionality in the phonegap plugin on Appery. Would this functionality be in included in the phoneGap plug in already installed on Appery? or would I need to install a different plugin?

I have found that PhoneGap in fact does NOT support accessing recipients in a group text. e.g. reading an SMS from the native function to populate a new Twilio SMS with recipients. Is this your experience as well or are we wrong in thinking that PhoneGap in fact cannot support accessing SMS recipients from native.

also, a related question, I am a 3 user premium account on appery, is this the proper support forum for that?

If PhoneGap doesn't have such API, there is probably no option to do that in a hybrid app.
