Hi,

I want my customer to have access to the 'Files' predefined collection through the customer console. The 'wine' database she will populate has a column for the wine image that uses the 'File Name' from the Files collection. Is this possible and how? If not possible, is there another way to enable her to populate the wine collection's image column?

I don't really understand your reply. How and where will I use the update service? Create a new webpage for the customer? A new app? New functionality within the app to upload images?

You can use any of these approaches. The easiest way is to create an additional app page.

We plan to add this feature in the nearest releases.

Yes, this will be a usual collection, as any other. Files will be available from Customer console.
We expect it in the end of July.

Hi Katya, first I wanna say I love appery.io and I will definitely take the necessary steps to upgrade and enjoy more.
Please let the design of the customer console be as powerful like a real database management system. It should have features such as quick search, hyperlinked result, updating, deleting, editing, files viewing, sorting etc.
