Hello,
Instead of using a customized theme through jQuery Mobile ThemeRoller, is it possible to design the entire mobile app UI theme (layout, buttons, etc..) in either Illustrator or Photoshop and convert the layers into CSS and upload it onto Appery.io as a new theme? If so, is there any write up on that?

However, I did not see information about whether or not it is possible to create the UI theme in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop and converting the layers into CSS and uploading it into Appery as a new theme (skipping ThemeRoller altogether). Do you know if it would work with Appery?

Unfortunately this is impossible, you may use some theme and change the way of every component with CSS or use ThemeRoller to create a new theme.
