How can you change the green app icon that the user sees before loading the app. I have an icon I want to use but have not found anything on this yet.

Select Project-App settings- Android Binary
For Icon property press Button Change to upload Image for Android.
Or Select Project-App settings- iOS Binary - Icons press Browse Button to upload icon Image for iOS.

I have followed the above steps,but not able to see the changed icon.
Do i have to make release checked?

Hello! Could you clarify you're trying to compile .apk file? Did you install app on device? What is the format and size of image you've uploaded? Please try if it works with Release checked.

hie..
yea have build app and export app to .apk.
yes i have installed app on device and want to set the icon for that app.
Image i have used - format is.png, resolution is 128 x 128.and size 6.42 kb

What device you use to test? Please check on Source tab ANDROID-AppName-res-drawable-appicon.png - is there your image? (click on it, it should be opened in new editor window).

yes that image which i have selected for icon is opening in editor window as per the steps you mentioned above but it is not showing me on that samsung note on which i m testing.
