Id like to add a Sign up with facebook log in to my app, I have found this link on facebook https://developers.facebook.com/docs/... can I use this or can I use the Facebook API built in to Appery?

I'd like to add the feature sign up with Facebook to my web app, the app will eventually go on the android and apple platforms. How can I go about this ?

We got a Facebook book tutorial in http://docs.appery.io. It shows you how to connect to Facebook and use its API. Facebook is not different than any other API, you simply invoke it from your app built in Appery.io.

So I could use the integrated api to add a sign up with Facebook feature in addition to the standard login through database. I don't want to use facebook for anything else just as a access route to the app

You can do anything you need in your app.. it's a standard jQuery Mobile apps runs in the browser or a native wrapper (PhoneGap).

I am following the tutorial but get stuck at point 2.

Go to http://developers.facebook.com/ and log in (or sign up) - done this and signed up as a developer.

Click Apps link in the top menu, then Create New App button - but this just takes me to by main facebook page.

Is this tutorial out of date in navigation or am I being blind
