All that being said ... which is great ... if you only use Weinre to debug your your application and run only on the Windows platform ... you won't see a whole host of issues that you can see when viewing the console and running your app in the Xcode IOS simulator.... ( on a MAC ).
I'm a big fan of Windows ... but if you have a complex app of any sort ... and want to figure out how it make sure it's running on IOS efficiently ... a rented MAC instance can save you a boat load of time hunting down issues you won't find any other way.
