Dear Tiggzi,
I would like to know if you have any plans to add a feature that would allow users to connect to external databases. I understand that you can currently connect with REST API but what I'm referring too is a plugin that would allow you to connect to a SQL or Access database through parameters and connection properties (see attached image)
I would love to use Tiggzi at work, the problem is that we have multiple SQL Databases and I need a way to connect to these different databases since I work in a hospital and the data needs to reside in the hospital. Rest API would not work for me in this case.
Sincerely,
Alberto da Silva

RESTXpress allows you to expose relational data or web services via RESTful APIs. Once you have an API, it's very easy to use in your app that you create in Appery.io.

Perfect. How does one go about integrating the RESTful API into the App created in Appery?

Pretty much every tutorial shows how to do it: http://docs.appery.io/tutorials. You should also read services docs: http://docs.appery.io/documentation/a...

Hello,
We're a very small company that can't afford restexpress annual licensing fee. Is there another way to connect a sql database to an appery app? I have a database of local businesses on my server that I'd like to connect to my app.
Thanks

You can use any other solution to expose your database via REST APIs.
But also do this. Ping a href="mailto:enterprise@appery.io" rel="nofollow"enterprise@appery.io/a and tell them what you are trying to do.. maybe we can figure out something.
