Update Columns in Services

I added columns to one of my collections and now want to use them in database service but i cant see them. how do i update the database service?

Hi Fabian,

You should probable recreate. You can also refresh page with the editor.

Delete the old one and create it again, or press F5..

when i delete the old one i loose all my connections to the service right? f5 does not update the columns in the service... or do i understand something wrong?

Fabian,

You would need to add desired columns in service response settings manually. It's not a bug, but a feature of services behaviour. They are based on the snapshot of the current state of the collection.

A feature? but wouldn't a better, not to mention obvious, feature allow the updating or refreshing of the service response to match that of the database columns? I have a similar problem whereby i rename a column but the service response shows only the old name.

Unfortunately there is no other way, you have to do it manually.
