how to make scrollable text. i want to add image as the background on the label i want to display text. when i scroll on text it should just scroll text without scrolling the background image.
please let me know how to achieve this

I'm not sure I understand the question...you want text to move as you scroll?

let me explain in betterway

1. i want to display background image on the page or panel or container etc..

2. on label widget or any other widget where i can display text.

   (I want to make page which should display some image as background, and i need to display text on top of the background image something similar to below )
   

3. when i scroll the text, it should only text not the background image
   is it possible using tiggzi
   please let me know

As for scrolling just the text, it's probably possible with some CSS but you would need to code it. Tiggzi is an app builder (like an IDE) so you create anything.

i just learned Tiggzi. and i just tried example project in the video "Lesson 3- The Tiggzi Database Service". it makes a simple MESSAGING APPS right?

i want to know, cant i make the "panel" of date,author, and text, to be come Scrollable with defined Height size, and put it on TOP. (just like Blackberry MEssanger)

Yes, you can place Panel inside of Panel and set hight for outer one.

Katya, my double panel, didnt scroll if i try in my Handset (Sony Xplay)

but if i run it on browser, its scroll just fine IF the resolution higher than 320x480.

it didnt scroll when the resolution 320x480. and lower.

The Double Panel get Scroll at ICS but not on Gingerbread...

Tiggzi is a platform to create apps -- the final app runs in the browser. It's not related to Tiggzi being based on HTML5. Froyo/Gingerbread are rather old Android versions. It's possible that latest jQuery Mobile version that we use -- doesn't fully support the older Android browser versions.
