Have an inbuilt way in Appery.io platform to put out Local Notifications to the status bar

Would be great if the platform itself had a way to add notifications to the Status Bar/Notification area on Mobile Devices. Something like the PhoneGap Plugin - https://github.com/katzer/cordova-plu... does as a Phonegap plugin but would be great to make it piece of cake adding it to the product (having issues (https://getsatisfaction.com/apperyio/...) adding that plugin, don't know if it is possible with current third party support).
