i cant break my custom component

i made a custom component via grid and i insert it on a page
now i wanna deal with it so i should break it
i am trying to do this it is not working in some components !!!
please help

i wanna to make a new page using templates and during this i wanna to copy my controls from the main page so i used grid and put my controls in then i made it as custom component after this i added it the new new page from custom components panel then to deal with the controls in i should break apart it it works in some pages and the others i am not able to do this

Just to clarify - you click "Break apart" and nothing happens? No error messages?

To be able to break component apart first you will need to break apart template.
In breadcrumbs choose page name, them option Break apart page template will be available. Break it and then once Custom component chosen you will see Break apart custom component option available.
