Whenever I add a label over a list item, it turns the list color to white. When I take the label off, it switches back to the swatch color I specified. How can I edit the color of the list to be my specified color, even with a label on it? Can't find the right setting to edit.

Did you have a chance to test on device? Does the behavior persist?
Yes it looks exactly the same on Android. White list with black lettering from the label.
