Opening the native dialer

Please provide new documentation on opening the native dialer for Android.

Please go read the answer that was posted BY SUPPORT which states to use JavaScript and 'window.open', then go update the damn documentation.

This platform is absolutely ridiculous, I bet support replies with a "Try this" link to some bogus "documentation" which says to use the tel: scheme.
Stop wasting MY time, is this an accelerator platform or a decelerator?
