Urgent: audio player stopped working on mobile devices

Hi,
I had a perfectly working app that would take an audio link from dropbox and play it in an audio player.
Everything worked fine for a long time and the player won't work on mobile devices (still works on the web app).
The web player works if the audio file is stored within the app, but not if it's a remote url. Tested that this remote url works from appery test version on the web.
Please help me resolve this soon before my users start posting 1 star rating, already had cancellations / returns / complaints on the android store.
Problem occurs both in android and ios.
