distinct query on users collection

hi there, sorry to bother you with custom code but it must be a stupid thing.
distinct queries work very well for any collection but when it comes to the Users, I dont get it right.
I keep having the error msg "you dont hv the authorization for this collection ..." as shown below.
Here also is few lines of code.
I don't see where the problem could come from ?
