Testing the app closes shortly after showing the splash screen on an Android Nexus 5 phone. The dimensions of the splash screen image are also wrong (a minor problem, but maybe a hint for the big problem).
What have I done wrong or what do I need to do in order to get the app running?

Does it work in browser? Are there any console errors (F12)?

Yes it works in the browser. No console errors. My RESTful server response in CORS - that I can see in the console and yes, no problems when running in browser.
The app starts with splash screen, and directly after that (1 sec) a alert windows says: "FitShapr" was terminated. (well in German as my phone is set to German).
