Barcode Scanner Failure

I am trying to create a very simple app using the Barcode Scanner using the Barcode Scanner tutorial (https://sites.google.com/a/gotiggr.co...) as a guide. No success. Help.

I saw and read the forum post about the barcode scanner not working anymore but that doesn't apply to me. I have only one page.

When I run it on my iPhone (by scanning the QR Code and testing) I get nothing. When I run it in the browser it doesn't work either. No surprise there.

I have tied the Invoke Service to the click event of the button.
I mapped the Responses for the my barcode service to the three labels on the page.

I see no scanner and I see no change in the labels.

Help

Hello.

What is the service response when you try to invoke it on device?

Nothing. The button I click on (touch) does nothing. The labels are mapped to the service responses but they do not change. I am viewing the app in the mobile browser after scanning the QR code from the Appery Test menu. Could that be the issue. Could the barcode scanner only operate when installed on the iPhone as a mobile app and NOT in a mobile browser?

Barcode works only on the device.
Please share the app with a href="mailto:support@appery.io" rel="nofollow"support@appery.io/a

As a side note, the site you reference in the original post is very old and hasn't been updated. Please use: http://docs.appery.io

Ok. That's what I thought. I'll install on device and test. Thx :)

Hey Max! Yeah I know that page is really old. I couldn't find an updated Barcode scanner tutorial or sample code on the Appery site. Got any?

Good point :). I'll migrate it to the new site.
